Building Web 2.0 strategies that create business value.

Once considered a hot trend, Web 2.0 has burgeoned into a global, unstoppable movement.  Consumers are immersed in it.  Companies are building their marketing efforts around it.  Even Madison Avenue is waking up to the fact that eenterprise-out advertising just doesn’t resonate with today’s empowered consumer like it did just a few years ago.

While more and more firms dabble in Web 2.0 strategy, SocialSphere has already established itself as an expert in the space. We continue to help clients realize the business value of Web 2.0 and social computing by utilizing a 3-tiered approach.

First, we wrap our heads around your business.  To address your business needs in the social computing landscape, we believe it’s critical to fully understand your mission, your competition, your challenges, as well as your short- and long-term goals.

Next, we focus on your customer.  We draw on our industry-leading research and research techniques to identify your target; where they are online; what they react to; what they are talking about; and who is already talking to them.

Finally, we build Web 2.0 strategies inspired by your customers’ needs, desires and behaviors. Where do they engage? What do we ask of them?  How do we engage them? By finding the answers, we help you create an authentic dialogue that will lead to tangible results for your business.

With this proven approach and our mix of business, marketing and technical smarts, SocialSphere is turning the promise of Web 2.0 into a reality for businesses.

A collaboration of experts for the collaboration economy.

In 2000, John Della Volpe started to connect the dots.  He was in the midst of conducting a groundbreaking research study at Harvard University’s Institute of Politics—one that gave him a front row view of Millennials and the way they engaged in their communities, received information, and communicated with each other differently.

Flash forward to the innovation that was happening in politics— from new approaches to fundraising to grassroots mobilization to communication with new audiences. For John, they were perfect examples of how organizations could apply social networking principles to achieve bottom-line results.  He sensed it was the beginning of a tectonic change—and he was inspired to create a company that would help businesses capitalize on it.Company History

In 2007, John founded SocialSphere, one of the very first Web 2.0 strategy firms. He chose Harvard Square as the company’s headquarters, because it is the epicenter of knowledge, innovation and Millennial culture.  He hand-picked a team of business strategists, marketing and brand gurus, Web developers, and analytical experts—professionals who complemented his deep experience in research and politics.  He completed his “smart tribe” by bringing in Harvard students who are actively engaged in and passionate about the Web 2.0 space.

Then the inevitable happened.  Sparks ignited.  Ideas blossomed. New approaches were brought to life, inspired by the desire to help companies realize the business value of Web 2.0.

Today, SocialSphere fosters a collaborative, creatively charged workspace that unites diverse disciplines and multi-generational talent.  From our in-depth research to our custom-built products, we continue to seek out new ways to be the partner our clients need to thrive in today’s knowledge-based economy.
